The Year of Less: How I Stopped Shopping, Gave Away My Belongings, and Discovered Life Is Worth More Than Anything You Can Buy in a Store by Cait Flanders

informative inspiring fast-paced

This book was not what I expected it to be, which seems to be a common experience. I wanted to learn more about the nitty gritty of consumerism and the way it impacts ourselves and our societies. Instead, I got a pretty boring memoir of a woman who just travels all the time while agonising whether she should buy a new Kindle.

The book had some insights, but it was mostly just pretty boring.
