😰😰😰
This book... This masterpiece of a book... This really is one of the very few books I felt my face drain of all colour and got goosebumps all over.
I have no idea how scientifically correct this book is, but I didn't really care because it felt believable to a degree AND if not, just the way it was written down and described in detail was enough to keep me interested and invested and devouring this book for more, more, MORE!!!
The way the book was written, going between the past and the present, going between moments with his father, who he had a very bad relationship with, and moments where he is struggling to stay alive in his current situation... It was amazing.
He never knew how much useful information his dad gave him when he was younger, that seemed so incredibly useless to him then, but proved to be extremely useful when he absolutely needs it.
And then, the underlying story of grief, forgiveness and shame and love and hate...
I devoured this book in 2 days. And I am so sad it is over. I loved it.
