#28: Popsugar 2017 "A book based on mythology." (has mythological creatures in it)
I wish that I would not have boycotted these books when they came out. I remember thinking it was a "fad" to read them and staunchly refused to do so.
I loved the movies. I am a firm believer that books are always better than movies. This I have struggled to read these books because I, typically, just stop reading and pop in the movie. It's taken me quite sometime to solider though this book and I am glad I did. I am starting to pick up on the little details that didn't make it into the film adaptation. I'm also glad to be reading what I consider to be a "modern classic."
Let's hope it takes me less than 9 months to read book 3...
