The Dragon Reborn by Robert Jordan

2.0

(listened as French audio book)

What's it about?
The third book in the Wheel of Time series is told from the perspective of Perrin, Matt and Egwene (I think that there is less than 5% from Rand's perspective; maybe another 5% from some other perspectives).

Basically, Rand feels compelled to go to Tear and grab the magic sword Callandor. Perrin chases after him (along with Moiraine , Lan, Loial and Faile). Through a series of events, Egwene (along with Elayne and Nynaeve) and Mat (along with Tom) also end up in Tear. A couple of Forsaken get killed (they kind of die easy), and Rand grabs the magic sword, revealing himself as a might dragon.

What did I think?
I wish it had been told more from Rand's perspective. A lot of padding like the previous books. Surprising how easy the Forsaken die. They are talked up like they are scary, then they die. Why is everyone always hating on Moiraine?
