I read this on release day and I think if it wasn't for a buddy read, I would have for sure DNF'd this one. This has got to be the most repetitive book I have ever read, complete paragraphs were copied and pasted with the same few plot points being discussed over and over. Whilst it was a quick read, it felt slow and a slog to get through as nothing was really happening and nothing made sense - there were a lot of plotholes and loose ends which didn't go anywhere too.
This had classic unlikeable characters where you weren't really rooting for anyone, you just wanted to get to the reveal. Unfortunately, the ending was where I was the most let down, there wasn't that signature Freida twist that threw the book on its head which I was relying on to save the book honestly.
Not the best this time around from Freida McFadden but I'm pretty sure I'll carry on reading her books when they are released.
