Isabelle and magnus are carrying this story, everyone else was insufferable godbless. problematic elements aside, the plot wasn’t my favourite but it did get better towards the third act. cassandra clare loves a silly dramatic time of contradicting scenes and paces so much but this book was a new high of chapters upon chapters of nothing to disturbing high tension demon babies
