This is the third book in the Playing to Win series and it just keeps getting better and better. They are companion novels that you can read in any order, but read them all, because they are awesome!

OMG, I love Ares! He is so patient, kind and good for Grace. Grace is a people pleaser and I understand her desire and need to put the needs of everyone above her own. It felt so real and true. In the previous book we got to know both Grace and Ares a bit, but getting more into both of their characters was so good. Ares was head over heels for Grace, and he gave her the courage to choose herself for once. I like how this is a tale of two people who are misunderstood, and their connection.

The only thing I wished we had more of was the development of Ares and Grace’s relationship. I would have liked to see more of the time as their friendship and desire for each other developed. I loved to see the text conversations between Grace and her friends, and Ares and his friends, I always like how these are included in Bella’s books. It adds some light moments while moving the story along.

Overall, this was such a great book. Bella Matthews hit it out of the park with this one. She continues to be an auto-buy author for me, as her storytelling is so rich and fun. If you love a guy who falls first and hard, this is the perfect book for you. Thank you the author for a copy of this book. All opinions are 100% mine.

Read if you love: secret relationship, he falls first, opposites attract, bad boy/good girl
