Very good for what is essentially an unsurprising, straight-up romance. Greatly lifted by the structure (20 years spanned by having each chapter cover the same day in the calendar every year), extremely accurate character observation and perfect laugh-out-loud dialogue. Would consider another of his but wouldn't rush to it.
