The Whole Truth by David Baldacci

2.0

I found this book underwhelmingly average. First and foremost, the genre wasn't really my cup of tea from the beginning. This high-stakes, global scale, political novel follows the most stereotypical action movie plot you've ever seen, and I do not gravitate towards these types of books or movies. There were no juicy plot twists or mysteries revealed, just increasing macho-man action scenes as WW3 becomes an increasing possibility. Gunfights, kidnapping, and continuously reading about the epitome of unemotional masculine energy does absolutely nothing for me. Sure, the power of perception management was interesting, but not enough for me to have enjoyed this book.
