A personal story of sexual assault can't be easy to understand for outsiders. The illegible text on the cover already hints at this and this is continued inside the book, with fragments of barely readable notes and images reflecting the struggle and hurt. Tellingly, the only clear perspective comes in the form of a letter from a friend, that is loosely placed inside the book. It’s inspired bookmaking. Ultimately, the feeling remains that this story contains a place where I can’t get to, but perhaps that was an impossible ask to begin with.
