The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
5.0
I was so hesitant to read this book. I don't often enjoy reading books that are so highly acclaimed. However, I felt a draw to this one. Sometimes you read a book that you'll remember for the rest of your life and continue to come back to. This one is one of mine. Jenkins Reid deserves a Nobel prize for this one.
Evelyn is not a likeable character, IMO. But her story really touches on historical info that is pertinent to sustaining LGBT history. It touches on so many topics that are so close to my own heart that I didn't think I needed to read but I did.
I listened to the audiobook, and the narration was also top notch for this book. Highly recommend.
