interesting story, but confusing writing. too many things going on at the same time, and the author, i'm sure, was trying to be suspenseful, but just made it hard to figure out what was going on. it may have been because of the translation from Norwegian to English, but i think it was also the style of writing. toward the end, i was just looking forward to finishing it so i could move on to the next book on my pile.
