A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
4.5
this started off pretty slow for me. it was a slow burn that picked up about 100-200 pages in and then took off with no stopping after that.
it was still very difficult to read for the other 500-600 pages of the book, but only because of how stressful all of it was. so many twists and turns and events taking place affecting characters i actually care about.
i am so glad that there are still 2 more books to read after this bc i feel like the ACOTARverse itch still hasn’t been fully scratched for me; not because it isn’t satisfying to read but because i cannot get enough of it.
i’m very much looking forward to the next 2 books, sjms other works, as well as what else sjm will bring to acotar and to us in the future
