If you believe the theory that Amelia Bedelia the fictional housekeeper has autism, this book is the adult version of that as Molly Gray the maid takes all directions literally with no understanding of sarcasm. The story ending is unexpected by ties up well. I wish there was a prequel to learn more about Molly’s grandmother while she was alive because so much more could be written about their lives together.
