While I couldn’t done without the final ‘secret reveal’ Morning Star still gets 5 stars for being almost perfect…and for bringing an actual tear to my eye. 

The world building is overwhelming at times, but it’s done so well that there are so many characters to love, and hate. There is love, but the focus is on friendship so much more than romance which was the right way to go having a plot with so much violence. 

One of the best trilogies I’ve read, and definitely one I’ll be revisiting. *chef’s kiss*
