Killers of a certain age was not the story that I was expecting it to be. On my own head, I hadn’t read the blurb as thoroughly as I ought to have, the title and the pretty vibrant cover alone pulled me in. And all things considered, it was a great book, the characters were relatively lovable, and at the very least intriguing, with enough action-packed scenes to keep the pace moving forward. For an older audience, this will likely be a very relatable read at points - even super assassins have hot flushes.
