3.5 stars- I think I expected a more intense story from this book based on everyone being obsessed with the first season of the Netflix adaptation (which I have not watched). It wasn’t a bad story — the romance was sweet although sometimes manipulative and Simon was also an angry dummy. On a whole I did not hate it though. It being a simple story made it a quick read with quirky conversations and characters that made it fun. I probably wouldn’t re-read it, but will probably listen to the others on Libby as well to find out what happens to the other Bridgertons.
