The Twist of a Knife by Anthony Horowitz

mysterious medium-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Loveable characters? Yes

3.75

This was my favorite Hawthorne/Horowitz yet - would have been 4 stars if not for the weird self insert political correctness dialectics that Horowitz INSISTS on putting in these books. The setting is fun, the characters really pop off the page, and yes - I did guess the solution, but was surprised at one or two of the finer details.
