Across State Lines is the 4th book in the series and can be read as a standalone. This book, as with all of Lauren's books, is dark, pitch black, and questionable morals at best. This book is a wild ride and the spice is absolutely off the charts! The ending is perfect for a Lauren Biel book. With all of that being said, be sure to note that this book is dark and full of triggers.
