The Kind Worth Saving by Peter Swanson

3.0

The Kind Worth Saving is the long awaited sequel to The Kind Worth Killing which I read a couple of months ago. This book does answer the unanswered questions I had at the end of TKWK and I think overall it is a successful sequel.
I actually enjoyed the plot of this book more than first, it was definitely harder to put the book down. I found Joan and Richard's dynamic interesting but them as characters maybe not quite as strong than Lily's character who is fascinating to me, and she is the reason I decided to pick this sequel up. I don't find Henry very pleasant at all and I dislike reading from his POV, it is a shame that this detective lets the book down for me.
Like TKWK, I really didn't see the twists coming, except for the ending which was quite predictable.
I am glad to have completed this duology and I would recommend them if you're looking for a fast-paced thriller series. I probably would read from Peter Swanson again in the future too.
