It was a solid read. I liked the characters conceptually but I do think the character development was a bit trickier to follow. The ML doesn’t really seem to grow much at all and FL seems to grow backwards? She is about independence but at the end she realizes she wasn’t independent and needs to be more independent? Idk it wasn’t horrible but it was smth I noticeably tracked. 

As an ex Taylor Swift fan (she should have done way for for Palestine as a “feminist”) I was getting annoyed with the 10+ Taylor specific references but that’s the author’s prerogative. That said this was probably written before the October attacks and maybe if I still liked Taylor Swift I wouldn’t have been so annoyed.
