The book is about two characters, a blind girl named Marie-Laure LeBlanc and an orphan named Werner Pfennig. I really did enjoy the book but I had a few major problems with it. You read through most of the book in their POVs so you know they will eventually meet up but when they, do it’s pretty boring. The whole book builds up to that moments and it kinda fell-flat for me. Also, I felt like the pacing was very, very slow and the book could have been like 100 pages shorter. It was a good but but it just felt so slow and so repetitive at times. If you want to read a book more for the vibes than the actually plot, this is a good book for that. The book does have pretty short, easy-to-read chapters which make the process of reading much easier. Overall, it was a great book but not my favorite.
