I can't rave enough about Lucy's writing. She writes some of the most relatable characters. They seriously feel real to me.
Layne and her 3 men felt no different to me. I felt her fear, I felt their anger, I felt like I was living the story being told to me as it unfolded.

"A small smile sits on her lips, and she simply looks deep into my eyes before she pushes my hair off my face. βMatteo, never leave me. I wouldnβt survive without you.β βYeah, you would, because you are the strongest person I know. But hereβs the truthβthis thing of ours, Layne, itβs a forever, and ever, and fucking ever, ever, ever thing.β
*I hate to give spoilers but I will say check your trigger and content warnings as there are some heavy topics in this book.
Thank You to Lucy for gifting me an early copy. All thoughts are my own
