A Soul to Guide by Opal Reyne
5.0
I finished this a few days ago and I can so confidently say that we are
SO BACK
I really felt like the last book was really filler and even though I enjoyed the characters, the storyline did nothing for me.
WELL, HOW THE TURN TABLES!
IN THIS ONE I LOVED EVERY SINGLE PART OF IT
the start was a bit difficult to understand because of the new world building which was very necessary for the series' longevity (imo) and because of all the fancy elvish words, but once we got back to good olde medieval Australia with the Veil and the Duskwalkers I felt quite at home despite the glaring differences.
Although she was long, I still ate her the fuck up in a day and am now strongly attached and I desperately need a portal link to the Veil and whatever this world was called so we can reunite Merikh and the twins and the rest of the brothers he totallyyyyyy hates (/s) asap
