I loved this book. I have never felt so immersed in a characters mind before. Is this a story of a man with PTSD? Is Billy really visiting aliens and traveling through time? Maybe both. Either way it is clear the war had a very strong effect on our main character. He is so detached from other people and constantly reminded of his time spent in the war. This was the first book I read by Kurt Vonnegut and it certainly won't be my last.
