I love with this second installment that we see more of the human world dynamic in this world, and how the pack needs their people in the real world as well.
The power dynamic for Thea and Elijah was very different than book 1, and that served to enhance everything. On page, I really was rooting for them the whole way through as well. I did appreciate the ending a whole lot as well. Especially the epilogue!
