Neelo is an adorable character, but I wish this book would have been from Tal’s POV. The whole book he comes across as too perfect, and I would have loved more depth from his character development. I get why it was important we see the story from Neelo’s POV to understand them, but maybe I would have enjoyed it more if it were a dual POV.

Their relationship felt a little retconned to me? A lot more tell instead of show. I enjoyed the last 25% the most, once we really got back to the main story line. I’m interested to see where the next book goes.

Overall this is my 3rd fav of the series— Remi #1, Bri #2, Neelo #3, Rua #4.
