I am not a fan of slow burn reads and especially not romance as that is a genre that I’m already not too fond of. Also, when I met Ms. Ryan and conveyed that I wasn't wowed by the style of writing, she cut me off and walked away rather than engaging with me and perhaps explaining WHY she wrote the book that way. Because of that action, she will never see another dollar of my money in this lifetime regardless of what she writes.
