Forever, Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid
4.0
I enjoy TJR’s writing style . She does a great job spinning stories.
I didn’t really care for the protagonist for the majority of the book though. I understand that grief is completely individual and is WEIRD and messy but …. I don’t think it gives you free reign to be a mean person . To everyone . All the time . I’ve had friends and family deal with some TOUGH life situations and not one has ever come close to being as straight-up mean as Elsie.
Thankfully … she did evolve which certainly helped redeem her (to me) and the book .
