4.5 stars - A metal thrillride of a book! Hendrix brings his usual sharp observation and brutally sincere insight into people to a bonkers story which changed what I thought the book was entirely several times over the course of its telling. Beautiful, uncompromising, and ocassionally disgusting, this deserves a place with Hendrix's other hits, second only to his masterpiece, How To Sell A Haunted House.
