This book really didn't go how I expected it to. It had the vibe of an historical fiction novel wrapped up with a little bit of a thrill. It's not a traditional murder mystery and I enjoyed that but if you're looking for something that'll keep you up at night, this is not the book for you. Before I realized the genre-bending that was happening I was a little upset it was taking so long to get to the thriller aspects of the book but I really enjoyed the way it ended up playing out and it was a unique spin on more traditional thrillers.
