This was a fascinating memoir that lacked cohesion and felt a bit disjointed. However…I have loved Brandi for 20 years and she can do no wrong…therefore, this is a 5 star read.

I cried a number of times at the end of the book. There is something about Brandi’s friendships with Joni and Elton that is just so special and it was in those pages of the book that I truly felt Brandi’s words in my soul. Those stories hit my core like her notes do.

Apparently, I need to purchase the audiobook because of her included songs. You don’t have to tell me twice!
