Iron Crossed: Tennessee England: Book Three by Disa Dawn
4.0
I absolutely love this series, it always feels like coming home when I am surrounded by the characters again.
Iron Crossed is the third book in the Tennesse England series. Sho has disappeared and she doesn’t know who she can trust. She has to fight for herself and her loved ones. Can she win a battle, on her own, against demons who are much stronger than her?
I picked this book up during a difficult time in my life, I just needed to return to the comfort of one of my favourite book series. Delving back into the world of Ten and her friends felt like being surrounded by family. I absolutely adore the quirky characters in this book. Every one of them has something unique about them to fall in love with. I also love the representation in these books! I love the incredible strength of Ten’s character, her ability to stand up for herself without anyone else’s help. Her quick witted banter never fails to put a smile on my face. Yet she has the kindest soul and does so much for others.
I didn’t love this one quite as much as the second book. I found myself losing focus in places and struggling to follow what was happening but this may have been because of the issues I was facing in my personal life. Every time I pick up one of Disa’s books I look forward to the beautiful way she writes romantic scenes. I’ve never read writing quite like it, it manages to suck me in and leaves me craving more. She writes of love in such a pure and selfless way, it’s one of my favourite aspects of these books! I cannot wait to see what happens to Ten and her friends next!
I recommend this series to any fans of lighter fantasy reads. I want to thank Disa Dawn for allowing me to read this book and give my personal thoughts.
