Never Never by Tarryn Fisher, Colleen Hoover
5.0
I've never heard anything about Tarryn Fisher - at least I think so - but I only recently read "Maybe Someday" by Colleen Hoover and absolutely loved it! Therefore I just had to read Never Never as soon as possible and let me tell you: It was AMAZING!
I finished it this night around 1am and lay in my bed with a probably super weird expression because I couldn't believe what I've just read. Seriously, that ending was jaw-dropping. I think I'm even more confused now than when I started reading it, so if you pick this one up ... don't expect to find out anything. You get little bits and pieces of information about Silas and Charlie but nothing that adds up in the end and explains why or what exactly happened to them ... I'm freaking clueless! But I guess that's also why I like it so much - I love thinking about what happened and why and how they can reverse it and and and. It makes it a lot more "interactive" and I enjoyed that a lot!
The two main characters were great, I think. Especially Silas stole my heart with all the lovely things he said to and about Charlie but also because he's gorgeous and handsome and makes me and Charlie laugh ... and well, he seemed to be a great boyfriend. Most of the time. Charlie on the other hand annoyed me sometimes but not as much that I don't like her anymore. It's great to see that she wants to change things (especially with her sister) and that she didn't really like her "before"-self - I don't know, they got a second chance and maybe they can finally change a few things.
I guessed a lot and tried to find out what happened to the characters but, to be honest, I was as cluessless as them. Tarryn and Colleen did a great job with that and because of the "WTH?!?" ending I'm really looking forward to book 2! Seriously, I need this now! The cover for book 2 is equally confusing and makes me even more curious.
I would definitely recommend this "book" - it has only 140 pages or so, therefore it's a quick and easy read but it gripped me and I'm freaking out over Silas and the book in general - so read it if you're interested! ;)
