This little story was okay, but the writing style was confusing. I got the general gist of its message though: disillusionment with modern life. Really liked how it seemed timeless despite being written almost 30 years ago. But I found the scene changes were weirdly ambiguous. The narrator would often switch between moments without indication, so it wasn't clear she was suddenly thinking about an entirely different person. I love dreamy writing, but this needed more structure!
