This book is one that everybody should read, despite your background, skin colour or gender. It has an incredible story and sheds light onto a subject that most young people, such as myself, can never imagine personally.
Her progress towards writing was particularly interesting and inspiring. Not everyone learns the same way and to see an accomplished author speaking of the struggles she experienced regarding literature as a child is certainly relieving, if not for me but for others with similar struggles.
If anyone is considering reading this book, stop considering and just start. you won't regret it.
