I thought this was a great tie in between the show and the movies. All of the characters still had their personalities, and they all shined. Ha...shiny. Anyway, I do have one minor complaint. I wish it was longer. I felt some of the fight scenes were rushed, and some of the other scenes jumped around a bit. In TV form the jump would have caused suspense, surprise, and shock, but in this form it made me flip the page back a few times until I finally got it. That's probably something wrong with me, not with the book itself. I'm a recent fan of Firefly and Serenity, so I'm not as stickler for things that others might be. If you are a fan, then read this. If you are super fan, read this, but know it won't be as good as the show or movie. I found Those Left Behind to be very enjoyable, and I enjoyed my bubble bath much more while reading this. I can't wait to read the others.
