This story dives into multiple themes including religious perceptions, vulnerability, slavery, violence, medicinal remedies, and the harsh living conditions and ruthlessness of the medieval era.
The found family bonds are beautifully crafted in this story, and there are heart wrenching moments throughout. This is non stop adventure, action, suspense and danger, and I loved every second.
