Ahhh, this book was very cute and charming.
I did enjoy the world, the characters and the plot, though it does start a little slow.
The little fandom references weee very sweet and I can feel the amount of love poured into this book.
There was a phrase that I found a little annoying on how repetitive it was (no, not the “good-looking giggles” I actually found it charming and relatable, as someone who runs into a similar issue around attractive people).
But overall, I loved this book. Can’t wait to read the next one in the series!
On a side note, I do agree that Zhara’s sister and her disability wasn’t handled greatly. So about .5 star off of that.
