😰😰😰

This book was fenomenal! I enjoyed every second of it and was SO invested in everything that happened! Deep sea creatures and just deep sea in general has always intrigued me but also terrify me on a nuclear lever 😭😂 This book gave me everything I am terrified of AND intrigues me. It has deep sea creatures which you learn about, it has bacteria and infectious deceases, and the constant stress off "Is this thing gonna hold his own against the pressure of the deep sea"?

The characters were also amazing (except for one. Fuck the one dude...) and each had an important role in the story. Each character was believable, their reactions were logical and understandable and their actions in response were all so in tune with their characters!

And then just the atmosphere, the terror of what is happening, the secrets, the noises,... This book was a litteral *cheff kiss* and nobody can tell me otherwise.

Also, this is one of the very few books that actually gave me shivers sometimes and had me feeling dread at some points, and that happens very rarely for me.

5 star read. I would even score it higher if I could. I can't wait to dive into (😏) the second book of this series!
