i loved lauren shippen's writing for the podcast, but i guess i was just expecting more from this book.

i still enjoyed it, of course. i love all her characters so of course i would enjoy reading more about them, especially since i find books to be an easier medium to consume than podcasts (even though i love the podcast). caleb and adam are so cute!! like caitlin said in the book, they just fit. i loved reading about their dynamic. there's no word for it in english, but it was very nakakakilig lol

i just felt like there were issues with pacing. the first half dragged so much for me?? it felt kind of dense and hard to get through for some reason. i guess because it felt repetitive to me as someone who's already listened to the podcast. on the contrary, i feel like the ending and resolution were both way too rushed. i wish chloe, frank, damien, and the AM had been introduced into the story earlier.
