I’m actually writing this review the same day as finishing the book and BEFORE starting the next one!

I am SO ready for Brex and Warwick to just BONE already, good GOD.

I LOVE the twist of Brex looking at Ash’s fae book and getting sucked into the memory of the war and ACTUALLY BEING THE PERSON who brought him back to life on the night she was born 20 years ago when he came back from the dead! And that she was also there for Scopion’s resurrection!

Their little bond reminds me a ton of Rhys and Feyre from ACOMAF and honestly, I’m super embarrassed that it took me so long to put it together.

Brex: Caden, Killian, Zander, Warwick, Ash. All these MENS who are so IN LUST with her! I wonder what she’s going to end up being. She can bring dead things back to life, has this (mate?) connection with Warwick, they can power each other up, they can take each other’s pain, she heals superhuman fast, she moves faster than people can see… WHO IS SHE.

Not going to lie, though, I kind of almost wanted her and Killian to have a bit of a thing? Kind of felt like the Tamlin of the story without being the WORST.

The reveal that her non-blood-uncle is still alive and then the reveal that her blood-uncle-that-she’s-never-met is ALSO alive and they’re both leading resistances…. WOW. MORE MORE MORE.
