This one wasn't bad, it just didn't wow me. It was a solid read, but there were times when I had to make myself finish it.

One high note for me, was getting more of Susie's background. It felt a bit melodramatic. But, the whole series is, so it fits, kinda.

And we got more hints about the background of John's parents. I can't wait to find out more about his mother. And I wonder if there's more to Walker than meet's the eye. Or at least John's eyes.
