I love you Phoebe Robinson. I found a copy of this book in a LFL but I just had to listen to the audiobook to hear her narrate. 
Do yourself a favor and pick up the audiobook!! I really felt like I was hanging out with a friend, having a very long, one-sided conversation. I was literally laughing out loud at times. 
Once in a while, the quasi-analogies and references were a bit too long and frequent. If a few of those were kept out then this book would have been golden.
