I think my biggest issue with this book was the pacing. It was such a slow book and didn't pick up until like the 70-75% mark (for me). I enjoyed Throne of the Fallen so much more, but to me that one was a little more fast paced. Throne of Secrets has more Bridgerton vibes, and im not a huge fan of that, so maybe thats what bogged it down for me. Overall, I enjoyed it once it picked up, and will be continuing with the other books in this interconnected standalone series.
