 The first half of the book was about just character introductions. Each chapter was from a different characters POV and there are 5 main POVs and about 4 or 5 others sprinkled within the book. 
It wasn't until there was a quarter left of the book that I felt the action started. I don't understand the motive of why The Game had them do some of the things they did.
