I admit starting a series in the middle isn't the best idea. Still, this book wasn't half bad considering I was sometimes confused in the first half of the book. The author did a decent job of explaining enough of the background so that I wasn't completely lost and I could at least follow the plot of this particular book in the series (I have no idea if the background given covers what happens in previous books, I didn't even look it up).
The chemistry was good, and of course I like the hero, Graham. But there was nothing to really capture my interest as would be required for a 4 star or better book for me. I would definitely give this author and this series another chance if I happened to get a chance to read any of them.
