This wasn't an easy reading and let's be honest, Mia really WAS too much to handle sometimes. I think all of this is just proof of how well the book and the characters are written. Because in one minute Mia was okay and in another, she was like this queen b**ch and I hated her, which also made me realize that her character is very well written and everything around her is there to show us how hard life is for her and how much it can influence someone in many different ways.
Tyler on the other hand was a complete golden retriever boy who was made for her, even though I was hesitating for some time, if the author had not played some game with us and if there might be a different ending to the one that everyone was expecting.
I liked this story, it was different from the typical romance stories that I read so far, there are a lot of emotions and things between the MCs and also in their pasts, which might not be easy to read for some people.
I also liked the small-town environment and I am glad that I already read Rival Hearts and I will definitely read the next one.
