This is Forever is apparently the fourth and the last book in the This Is Series – but since this is the first book I picked up in the series; I can completely assure you; that it can be read as a standalone.

I rarely read romances with Hollywood Stars/ Professional Athlete heroes; mostly cause the player attitude of almost all of them is something that gets old and just on my nerves – but single parent romances are my kryptonite – so that aspect of the blurb of this book pretty much sealed my intention to read it.

Justin, a professional ice – hockey player; doesn’t take anything beyond his family and his game seriously – isn’t looking for anything forever or even a commitment when he purposefully bumps into the mother of one the little boys part of his Non – Profit Camp for underprivileged kids.

Caroline, on the other hand, adores her son and will do anything to give him all that he needs and required to thrive in his life. Becoming a teen mom wasn’t part of her life; but she has taken onto the role with aplomb, even if she has no idea what and how she will make ends meet.

With her past constantly trying to derail her present and her future; a romance with a professional athlete is the last thing on her mind.

The attraction and connection between Justin and Caroline is instantaneous; and while Justin is willing to explore EXACTLY what it is about Caroline that captured his attention; Caroline is the one who is more reticent to acting on the attraction. Caroline KNOWS that both of them are from different worlds, worlds that shouldn’t ever meet.

But Universe has different plans for both of them; one that they would never see coming.

This is Forever was an emotionally captivating romance between two individuals who deserve a little happiness in their lives –
and not just that, I respected the fact that while the player attitude of Justin was referenced to at the start of the book; but once Justin was enamored with Caroline; it was just Caroline for him.

We also have a a huge family support backing Justin; and it was wonderful to see Caroline and her adorable son become enfolded into the family like they were long lost family members.

All in all, This Is Forever, my first foray into Natasha Madison’s world is one that will make me reader her backlist titles when I end up in a slump or just want a good, wholesome romance with a HEA! We all have those days of wanting something good and at times, cheesy to read; now don’t we?
