This fantasy book with a trans MMC was so good! I did not want to stop reading with my ears. I highly recommend the audiobooks. They are narrated by a non-binary narrator too!
The discussion of transitioning- how horrific Wyatt’s parents, the way the Fae take over lands and deplete them or kills the lands was such a take on how deadly Americans were to Indigenous communities. The lack of acceptance and support for the witches in the community was also really important. I loved the found family aspect of this book and the friendships.
Highly recommend.
